MSRM US750 Wi-Fi Dual Extender Setup allows you to create a Wi-Fi network throughout your house or office with the help of a laptop or phone. The extender’s state is shown by three light indicators. When the power light is steady, it signifies it’s almost ready for setup; when the WI-FI light blinks, it means it’s still trying to connect. The presence of a solid Wi-Fi light indicates that the configuration has been completed successfully. With the Comfast US 750 repeater, you can connect your computer, iPad, laptop, smart TV, security cameras, and more. There are three modes on this repeater: repeater, router, and access point. We should start setting up the MSRM US750 extender.
Setup Comfast US750 repeater via 192.168.10.1
- Make sure the extender’s switch is set to repeater mode.
- First, connect your extender to your router and the location where you require the internet. At this location, the router should be sending out at least 50% of its signals.
- Connect your laptop or phone to the extender, either wirelessly or via a wired connection. Connect to the MSRM network that appears in your Wi-Fi list for wireless association.
- For a wired connection, connect the repeater to the computer using an Ethernet cable, then disconnect the cable after setup.
- Once you’ve connected to the MSRM extender, launch your program and type ap.setup or 192.168.10.1 into the URL field.
- It will lead you to the MSRM US750 Extender setup page, where you should enter “admin” for both the username and password fields.
- From the screen’s modes, choose “repeater.” Choose the network you want to extend and enter its password.
- After following all on-screen instructions to the letter, your MSRM US750 extender will reboot for about 60 seconds.
- Now try connecting your device to the extended network, which is your (SSID EXT).
Setup MSRM US750 Repeater Using WPS
- Keep your router and extender in the same room. Alternatively, within a 5-10 foot range.
- Toggle the extender’s switch to the “extender Mode” position.
- Wait for the power LED on the US750 repeaters to stabilize before pressing the WPS button.
- Within two minutes, we should hit the WPS button on the router.
- Once the association is complete, the blinking lights on the extender and the router will cease blinking after 15-20 seconds.
- Unplug the extender and place it in one of the dead zones to obtain better Wi-Fi through the extender this time.
Setup MSRM US750 as an Access Point
We’ll need a long Ethernet cable to set up the access point, depending on your requirements. The term “access point” usually refers to the extender being connected via Ethernet to the router’s LAN port. Because data loss is almost non-existent due to wired association, this type of association obviously improves online speed. Let’s get started with the setup of the MSRM US750 Access Point:–
- Connect the router’s LAN to the MSRM repeater using an Ethernet wire.
- Now fetch your laptop or phone and go to your Wi-Fi list and connect to MSRM network “Wireless-N” or “Wireless-AC.”
- On a similar device, open a program and type in 192.168.10.1 in the URL field, then pick the access point mode from the drop-down menu.
- Check that the extender’s switch is set to AP mode before starting the configuration.
- Assign this AP an SSID, password, and security type.
- The extender will reboot after you’ve finished setting it up.
You’ll be able to link your various gadgets together now.
