Amcrest Camera SETUP
- Step 1

- Open Amcrest View on your mobile device.

- Choose the sort of connection you want to make, in this example, choosing Ethernet, WiFi Setup so that you may connect your camera to your network using an Ethernet cable.

- After scanning your camera’s QR code or entering its serial number into the app, you must name it. You may call it whatever you like. After naming the camera, enter the login and password. The admin is the default username and password. When you’re done, click “Next” to continue.

- On this page, enter the password for your WiFi network. In the event that your mobile device is already connected to the WiFi network, the Network SSID will be the input of its own accord. If your device has not previously been linked to a source of WiFi, you will need to manually input the Network SSID and password for your WiFi network.
NOTE: To join your device to the network, you must be within the WiFi range of the network.
The gadget will then begin connecting to your Wireless Network. When the connection is established, the words “Camera Successfully Connected” will appear within a few minutes. Start seeing your camera by pressing the “Start Live Preview” button.

- Amcrest View will request that you update your password. Enter a password that is no more than 32 characters long. Please click “Start Live Display” after entering your new password for your device to view the Live View screen.

How to reset amcrest camera?

Removing your device from your Amcrest Smart Home account is strongly advised before carrying out a factory reset.
- First, lift the camera up and look for the reset button.
- Step 2: Allow the camera to reset by pressing and holding the factory reset button for 45 to 60 seconds. The device will rotate during reset, and the front-facing camera’s LED will begin to flicker green to indicate that it is ready to be reconnected to the app.
NVR CAMERA SYSTEM SETUP
The NVR can be configured with or without a PoE or Non-PoE switch. PoE switches are use in conjunction with amcrest poe camera. The cameras are connects to the NVR’s PoE ports and do not require any additional power adapters to function. Non-PoE variants have no camera-connection ports. They do, however, have an integrated scan capability that can scan cameras on the same network. PoE models also employ the scan feature.
You will need a power cable, an Ethernet cable, SATA cables, a security screw, and a power supply cable for a hard drive installation to configure the NVR for IP camera on the network using a PoE switch. Most manufacturers offer technical assistance throughout the installation procedure or include an easy-to-follow instruction booklet with the equipment and accessories.
