1. Remove all package, first.
2. Remove any tape, including any that may have been applied to the float, and lift the water tank off the foundation.
3. Prior to use, clean the water tank and water tank lid.
4. Locate the humidifier on a level, firm surface that is at least 12 inches (30 cm) away from any walls. Water must not easily penetrate the surface.
